This is a sunset on the mississippi river taken off the back of our friends' boat. 
Some of our best days have been spent on this boat, and off of it when we drop anchor in a cove and bob in the river for a few hours.
It's kind of a bummer now that the girlies are so involved with softball, we only get to go out about twice a summer with them.

Ah, I love the Mississippi, dirty as it may be. Hey, you must live nearby,
as a Cardinal fan like me! Anyway, love that song. We used to go to the
Kaskaskia River when i was a kid.
I love the picture. I like your video. I used to have a boat. I was on
it every weekend. This makes me miss having it. I love boating and water.

have spirit. I like that. One advantage to a power boat vs. a sailboat -

wouldn't have guessed.

the stupid Brother Love's song stuck in my head!!
Nice touch with the bonus video. The Mississippi is so epic... the rivers
where I live suck. Around here you hear "river" and think, "who drowned
today?"

great photo. we used to spend some time with one of Dad's friends on the
Arkansas River south of Little Rock .... boat around, swim and play on the
sand bars. I miss those days.
Excellent choice! I miss boating...I would spend most of my summers in a
sailboat on the lake with my friends! Great shot also!
