Today is the end of Music Month at SPF, and today's theme is my "Musical Tribute". We saw this young man performing in Memphis while we vacationed back in 2006.

He played under a tent across from Graceland while we ate some Memphis BBQ. I was impressed by his skill on the guitar, and his ability to hold the attention of the audience.
To me, this is what it's all about. A musician with a guitar, all alone.
And the shoes were a nice touch.
Did you play?
~Easy
Yeah, it takes a whole lot of cajones to go up on stage alone like that.
With those shoes on, nonetheless. You are basically saying, yeah, I deserve
to be wearing these shoes, what of it?
Memphis is a fun town. Was the performer doing a Buddy Holly tribute or was
it purely Elvis a la the shoes?
I love it. Great picture. He looks like an entertainer.
ha! Those are great shoes! Happy spf!
Those shoes are kick ass!
I played.
The shoes are boss. I didn't play, but I think I might start. It's fun!
Funny, but my first thought when I saw him was Elvis as well. Elvis
Costello.
Shortly followed by Buddy Holly.
Not a lot of people can pull off the lone electric guitar/singer thing!
Nice pic!
Those are great shoes. Yes, I played, but I did'nt do minimalism this
week...
